Gettin' the good lovin' from Preston Lovinggood tonight (12.28) at Bottletree

One of Communicating Vessels’ most captivating artists, Preston Lovinggood, will be debuting some new tracks from his forthcoming CommVess release Sun Songs tonight, December 28th, at Bottletree in Birmingham.

If you haven’t been to Bottletree yet, this is a good time to go to one of, if not the, best venues in Birmingham. And if you don’t know where it is, well just slug in 3719 3rd Ave. South into your GPS.  Now that we’ve gotten you there, let us tell you what you can expect besides amazing music in a wicked good atmosphere.

You may remember Preston Lovinggood as the front man for Birmingham’s Wild Sweet Orange.  He has been working on a solo record Sun Songs at Communicating Vessels, our good friend Jeffrey Cain’s (of Remy Zero, Isidore and many other projects that are righteous) label. Could it get better? Well, yes. The album was produced by Taylor Hollingsworth (Dead Fingers, Conor Oberst and the Mystic Valley Band) who will also be opening the show.

Sun Songs will be released on Limited Edition Vinyl, CD, and Digital on Feb.19th via Communicating Vessels. BUT WAIT! THERE IS MORE! All who attend the show tonight will receive a free download of the album! Show starts at 9 so don’t be late. And if you are late – drink heavily and tip well.
