I almost gave up on this post. It just didn’t seem to want to come together. Information was hard to come by and what info that was available was often changing. Shit, even as you rea this now, it’s five days past a blown deadline. See that badass photo of a girl holding a fox? That’s the cover of the new AkuYou full length that’s been out since the 1st. Five days may not seem like much, but that’s 120 hours that you might have otherwise spent reveling in the band’s festering noise and dark drone. So get on it.

Fortunately, March is mostly middle to back-loaded in terms of releases, so you still have time to prepare for what’s coming up. And what we’ve got are a lot of singles. Five of them to be exact, including a pair from post-industrial rockers Cloudeater, one of which we featured earlier today (hint: it rules). Elsewhere, there’s a new deadCAT EP on the way for all you experimental electronic noise-pop lovers out there, Calm White Noise will release their sophomore EP after tweaking their sound and expanding their lineup, and local emcee Glenn Saddler looks like he’s about to get socio-political on his next joint. All of this adds up to what promises to be yet another interesting and dynamic month of Atlanta music. Happy listening.
